Hi, Tatenda here!
My birthname is Tatenda Michael Manyarara and I’m a multidisciplinary visual artist based in Hastings, United Kingdom.
I’m originally from Zimbabwe and I moved to the United Kingdom to further my education and passion for art and design. After college, I studied at the University of Westminster and graduated with a Bachelors Honors Degree in Mixed Media Fine Art.
My style is based around portraiture and an array of mediums from digital/traditional illustration, graphic design through album covers and posters, and photography just to name a few. I’ve worked with an array of clients such musicians and artists from The Voice UK and Britain's Got Talent, and I’ve taken part in poetry piece of identity titled ‘ Who Am I ?’ for Random Acts at Channel 4.
The goal is to not only make a living from my passion and learn more of what I could create but also create a legacy through my work to inspire others to aspire for their passions regardless of their backgrounds.
One sketch and one day at a time.
