These are portraits I illustrated to better explore the concept of portraiture by drawing not only in biro pen but also the concept of The Three Faces. It’s stated that the faces we show have three shells - one for the world, the other for our family and the last one we only know. The addition of the different colours helps construct a new perception towards how to view the subject whilst also shifting from the norm of just black pen.
