Nubian GoldBased on the essence and vibrancy of Africa, this digital painting serves as a form of representation towards the African woman, more so, The Nubians. With the addition of the celestial, it adds an extra layer of mysticism and intrigue likewise to space.
Black PantherAfter the passing of the late Chadwick Boseman, I drew this piece to embody one of the philosophies the film projected which was ‘Death Is Never The End’. In the film ‘ The Black Panther’, he ascends to the spiritual realm to where he meets panthers symbolising his ancestors. The realm is filled is with stars and northern lights referencing the heavens so I wanted to reference that in order to reference him the best way.
Self Portrait : Who Is The Self ?As I explored portraiture especially of other subjects, I thought of making a self-portrait of myself as it would bring an interesting perspective as to how I perceive myself. By removing the facial features, I experimented more with the idea of my aura and vibe through the textures of colours and the shapes illustrated from it.

Dear Mother From the gentle care, as she lifts the baby up to the tenderness and care expressed through the warm colours, I sought to present the love that only a child will ever experience as they are lifted up by the only person to whom they only know her heartbeat, their Mother.
3-D of HerThere are a lot of layers to a person, from their personality to even their desires they share with a select few. And since a person shows mostly 3 faces; one to the world, one to their family and friend, and the last to themselves, I thought I’d enhance the concept more with a 3-D element to it.
Moon Sisters I thought of the moon in regards to when I studied how certain planets like Jupiter and Saturn have sister moons. Though they are alike, they each rotate differently and have different climates. And since they are both twin sisters and similar to the other, I also wanted to show the different personalities each of them have that makes them stand out
Enough !Black Lives Matter, the death of George Floyd, the identity of what it means to be black in the world, these were some of the questions I saw and thought about greatly. Therefore, I decided to create a collage piece that inhabits all of these and more questions as a means to question what has been normalised and when enough is enough.
OliveThis was one of my earlier works as I looked to create a 3 portraiture of Olive. This allowed me to not only highlight her personalities, but also, an interesting perspective to what portraiture could be.
GambinoAfter watching Childish Gambino’s music video ‘ This Is America’, I was drawn to highlight expressive gestures and facial features that added an extra layer of spontaneity to the deep message being given in the film.
Celestial Nubian I was greatly inspired by double exposure that I wanted to create a piece that evoked an elusive feel to not only the muse but also highlighting the beauty of black women through the idea of stars and space.
Self Portrait : How Is The Self ? Upon deciding on how I view myself over the years, I thought I’d make another self-portraiture to depict my growth but with an interesting incentive. After having come from 4-20, I bought some brownies to which I ate to see what creation I’d make. And during the influence, I was able to create this edgy, erupting, and the expressive piece which greatly emphasised a sense of both sadness but also overfilling with passion or even yet, toxin.
